day two . . .

Day two started out with a lot of practicing . . . did we know what to say during our TRR (test readiness review).  If we couldn't explain our experiments and that they were safe, then we might not have the opportunity to fly them.  We also had to be ready to explain our outreach items, and why we wanted to take them on board.  A little nerve racking, but thankfully we sailed right through it.  We were given the green light on flying our research!
Loading the airplane came next . . . hot!  Of course the plane didn't have AC (while it is on the ground), so JoAnn and Allison had the opportunity to put everything in place for over an hour.   They let everyone board after things were in place to check it was done correctly.  So, I got to experience the heat for a little bit and actually BE on the G-Force One!
Finally, what we had been waiting for-we got or flights suits issued to us! :)
